  • The theater is a 983-seat proscenium theater. It has been described as a post-modern version of a European opera house - not very deep, but with seating on four levels.
  • Architectural plans, elevations, sections, rigging line plot drawings, etc. are available.
  • The loading door is located stage left at the rear of the stage and opens onto an alley. Dimensions: 9' 6 " wide x 11 ' 0 " high. The stage floor is level with the alley pavement.
  • The stage is a sprung wooden floor covered with Masonite and suspended above a concrete slab. There are no stage traps. Orchestra pit is equipped with a lift.
  • Pipe battens are 1 1/2 I.D., generally 55' long, double-extra strong steel pipe.
  • The off-stage right area includes a stage manager position, grand drape control and counter weight locking rail.
  • The off-stage left area includes the road board power supply hookup and FOH circuit panel.

STAGE LIGHTING SYSTEM
The stage lighting system is designed on a one light per circuit per dimmer basis. The light board may be controlled from the light booth in the balcony or at the stage manager's console on stage right or left. Dimmers are located in the basement mechanical room.

STAGE SOUND SYSTEM
The house audio console and patch panels are located at the rear of the orchestra in the audience left section. Most of the audio amplifiers are located in the audio rack room on the loge (2nd) level.

    A green room is immediately adjacent to the dressing rooms, with refrigerator, ice machine, etc.
  • Production Office
    A glassed-in production office with one telephone line is located in the green room area.
  • Laundry Facilities
    A washer and dryer are available, as are a steamer, iron, and ironing board.
